1. Who we are
Easy Municipal Solutions is an independent private consultancy. We are not a government body and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, appointed by or acting on behalf of the City of Tshwane or any other municipality or organ of state. We act solely as your appointed agent, on your written authority.
2. Our services
We assist clients to prepare, submit and follow up municipal account matters, including billing corrections and adjustments, credit refunds, opening and closing of accounts, meter applications, pensioner rates rebates, indigent support applications and incentive or relief applications, among others.
3. No guarantee of outcome
We do not and cannot guarantee any specific outcome, refund amount, rebate, adjustment or timeframe. All final decisions rest with the relevant municipality or organ of state. Our obligation is to perform our services with reasonable care, skill and diligence.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and truthful information and documents
- Sign a letter of authority where required for us to act on your behalf
- Respond promptly to reasonable requests for information
5. Fees
Fees for each matter are agreed and confirmed in writing before work begins. We will not charge fees you have not agreed to. Any third party costs (for example municipal charges) remain your responsibility.
6. Authority and mandate
You confirm that you are entitled to instruct us in respect of the account or property concerned, or that you have the necessary authority to do so. We act only within the scope of the mandate you give us.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays, decisions or errors caused by the municipality or by inaccurate information you provide. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
